Trance and Raids, nothing better
this expansion, this raid, the whole experience of WotLK was the pinnacle of game history, not just wow history. it was just SO wholesome.. and I'm so honored to experience this era fully back in the day. God I miss this so much
that UI and setup was something else. And yes, salute to all of us old school/retired WoW players who come here every once in a while to remember the good times.

Imagine being in Dalaran the first time ever somebody turned in that recall code. What an experience that must have been.

Wrath was such a wonderful expansion. I was so madly in love with wow raiding at 60 70 and especially 80. Then Pandaria came and the good times were over. Algalon and Lich King were two absolutely amazing fights. And really not THAT hard once you understand mechanics which no one truly did.
Still come back to this from time to time. My guild was a server first with this kill but I remember watching these guys. Great times these were.

Such a fun and engaging fight this dungeon and the trials were some of the most intense dungeons i got to experience in my wow venture.
"......I do what I must." IMO, that's Algalon's coldest line......

This was one of the best Guilds back then. If you compare their damage numbers to those in WotLK Clasic now, we have higher numbers. Its incredible
To be fair ulduar gear was buffed fairly significantly compared to back then. Ilvls are on average 10-12 higher
@@fiat_ow7876also they barely had any Ulduar gear in this kill, it was the second week of the instance..

Never experienced Ulduar back in '09 on live servers But have been raiding with the same guild since the start of Classic WoW And our 25m team killed Algalon the other night(same night I got my 30th Val frag and made mace on my Hpal) Was an awesome experience after watching this vid all these years👍

This was actualy very lucky kill. DK died when he got phased debuff. If kungen got phased it would be gg. This boss hits so hard that even ressurecting tanks is fucking hard.
That loot is goated for sure
This fight isn't even strategically complicated It's just a massive gear check for tank and heals It's sad they call such a easy zug boss as a "raid destroyer" Yogg 0 is the true final boss of ulduar
People killed both and the rest of the raid in almost entirely naxx gear in < 90mins
Yogg 0 isnt hard either lol. if you got the dps for it you can just brute force phase 3 and you only have to kite the adds out like once or twice. literally the same fight as 1 light.
cap i have both down. Algalon i killed in 2009 and now in wotlk classic i killed alga and yogg zero, and yogg zero was not harder than Alga. Like Nogunk said, Alga is a Tank and heal check, yogg 0 just a dps check.
